Ginger Energy Drink Recipe

This coffee alternative helps you boost your energy. Drink it in the morning or in the afternoon instead of your coffee. Makes 3 cups in 10 minutes…

Ingredients:

1 lemon or 1 blood orange or 1 lime
3 medjool dates or 1 tbsp raw honey
1 tbsp grated fresh ginger root
1 pinch sea salt
3 cups warm filtered water

How to prepare the drink:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor
  2. Let stand for 10 minutes
  3. Blend on high speed until smooth
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature

Tip:

  • For an anti-inflammatory add-on… try spices like turmeric, cinnamon or cardamom
